Kids Express in the Community
Representatives from our school marched in the Maplewood Memorial Day Parade in May, 2014! We had a wonderful time waving flags and marching alongside the Shaker High School Marching Band!
Our school had a visit from the Children's Museum of Science and Technology! We loved learning all about the Five Senses, and being able to touch a real live snake and turtle! It was so much fun! :)
Members of our staff participated in Habitat for Humanity, where we helped to build houses in downtown Albany!

During the holidays, many of our classrooms drew pictures and sent personalized cards to cheer up our troops overseas!
During Fire Prevention Week, we were visited by the local fire department and "Sparky the Fire Dog!" It was so much fun! He even gave us special firefighter hats!

After Hurricane Sandy, our agency collected tons of donations, which were then driven down to Long Island to aid those affected by this disaster.
